Special notice about the White House Tours

The White House website indicates that foreign citizens interested in taking a tour must contact their Embassy in order to make arrangements.

The U.S. Department of State, however, cannot currently grant access to foreign nationals as part of an Embassy-sponsored White House tour group.

We are therefore unable to process any requests at this time.

We will update this page if conditions change.

As an alternative, you may wish to consider visiting The White House Visitor Center or taking a virtual tour.

You might also add these free guided tours of other American institutions to your itinerary: the Pentagon, Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Library of Congress or Mount Vernon.
