ASSISTANT DEFENSE COOPERATION ATTACHÉ
Defense Trade and Security Policy
The Assistant Defense Cooperation Attaché for Defense Trade and Security Policy (ADCA/DT&SP)
is responsible for promoting defense trade between France and the United States.
In the exercise of this responsibility, the ADCA/DT&SP's functions include :

assisting French and US companies in the understanding of procurement laws providing all
information and coordination activities in support of the implementation of the French-US Memoradum
of Understanding on reciprocal purchases of defense equipment and regulations in each country.
seeking to reduce administrative and statutory barriers to reciprocal defense trade, including
interceding with the French and American authorities in areas such as export controls,
licence processing, filing and review of complaints, offsets, etc...
participating in the meetings and the activities of the MOU Attaché Group, in the capacity of MOU Assistant Attaché.
participating in the bilateral globalization discussions with a view toward furthering industrial armament cooperation and defense trade between France and the United States.
